Play sound games with me outdoors
Play with soundmakers outside with family and friends
- Take it in turns to scrunch on a gravel path
- Throw pebbles in a pond, you then me – notice the different sounds they make
- Let me listen to you splash in a puddle, then help me to do the same
- Make a big pile of leaves, and jump with me in the middle
- Go somewhere that echoes (such as a cave) and yell and stamp your feet with me
- In the middle of a field or park, walk around and call out to me; encourage me to do the same
