Help me to play what I can sing
Support me in learning to play the tunes that I have learnt to sing
- Help me play simple songs that just use a few notes like ‘Sur le pont d’Avignon’, ‘When the Saints’ and ‘Frère Jacques’*
- Help me find the right notes on the keyboard by showing me the pattern of the black and the white notes
- If I find it difficult, you could stick different textures on the notes I’ll need
- Encourage me to have a go on the recorder too
- If I find it difficult to cover the holes, you could glue washers round them
- I might like to try the ukulele too!
