Encourage my vocal efforts by amplifying them
- Encourage me to sing the bursts of music I’ve been hearing and playing by using a microphone and amplifier
- Let me feel where the sound comes out of the amplifier
- Show me how the controls work
- If the equipment has the facility, try introducing different effects like echo and reverberation
- Once I’m confident, turn it up loud!
- Record what I do so I can listen to it back
